A historical publication about the phenomenon 'Globetrotting'. Between 1905 and 1935, a large group of young people set off on a massive world trip on foot. Some leave out of idealism, others out of convenience and a third group is genuinely interested in other countries and cultures. Others are lured by adventure and a final group consists of globetrotters who want to escape poverty or other misery.
